For the plate most of you may LOL but My wife calls me Sanford "Sanford & Son" Cause I find stuff on the road or trash and reuse it. I do it partialy b/c she doesn't like me spending more $$ on the TJ

One day driving to the store there was a plate holder sitting in the middle of the road. (one like off a car that had the moulding and crap) Pickd'er up and got out the dremmel/grinder and fused off what parts (Plastic) I didn't need and tunred it upside down and and use 2 zip ties to hold it there! BTW the plate is a plate that is just for show nothing far as a real one. I'll try to find a pic and pu it up here!

One mans junk is another mans treasure!
cost me about 10 minutes of dink'n around. Most think its a aftermartket thing.. ha ha. YUP it is!

How long are your mounting plates, the ones that go into the bumper. I'm designing a bumper and I'm probably going to follow your mounting design, it looks really good by the way.

The are 6" x 12" x 1/4" steel plate, about 6 inches in the rails, and 6 inches out.

Nope. I will leave that for when I need it in case it only works once.

Looks good! I'm curious to see how it side loads too. Make sure to update this thread when you get a chance to do a hard pull or two.
