Do you have your layouts for the back up plates, and the placing of your holes? What are all the holes on the bottom of sliders? Looks awesome and i am building them!!! I really appreciate your sharing with all of us!
No, I don't. I didn't bother drawing this because I figured that out as I went along. I just chose hole locations that wouldn't hit anything on the inside, and sort of winged it. Same thing with the holes on the bottom.

also what holes were you talking about here?
No, 14ga is not near thick enough. 14ga is roughly 1/16th of an inch. 1/3rd the thickness they should be. If you landed on a rock with it, it would dent causing severe damage to the body of the jeep.
Thoes thing are sweet i wish i had something like that back when i first got my jeep. got a few dings that took some tough love to get out. I would like to use those plans if thats ok. they are sharp lookin.
nice fab budd, will certainly do those this summer since i can only work outdoors
keep doin nice fabs like that, you are good
Thanks a lot.

Nope, the sandwich plates are .130 stainless steel. A little thinner (slightly thicker than 1/8th"), but stainless is really tough stuff.. enough to bend the bottom of my tub downward before flexing when I was tightening the hardware.
Working on two different rear bumpers now. One 'normal' one, made from rectangle box tube, with jerry can holders, swing out tire carrier, etc.. and one that matches the forming on the front bumper (for my jeep).
