Miller spectrum 1251 SHOULD I BUY THIS?

Miller spectrum 1251 Plasma Cutter

I can get one in like new condition for $1300. Guy has receipts and with tax, he paid almost 5k for it.

The only problem now is determining if it will work with my 220V single phase. Does anyone know?

Is this pretty overkill for a weekend warrior in the garage?

Thanks.

That is a three phase machine. WAY OVERKILL for what you would want and cannot convert to 220V

Thanks. Did some more research after I posted and found out some more information. Thanks. I will pass. It does sound like an excellent deal though.

Hell, I would buy it just for the day I could have 480V three phase. Then again one day we will have other machines for it. Lathe, etc.
