metal yards eastern pa

i like to make a lot of my parts for my xj and other projects but buying steel from the local stores is pretty expensive. anyone know of scrap yards that sell to the public or steel yards that are reasonable with their prices in eastern pa area/ lehigh valley?

I dont know of any scrap yard that sell to the public in the area. Theres Remaly in Tamqua,PA its less than a hour drive north from the valley. I recently bought fairly priced steel from them but they're more of a fab shop, worked out great since they bent me up some 16ga galvanized channel in 12ft lengths which was mandatory for the project, but they seem to be a one stop metal shop.

X2. Reasonable prices for steel. Just don't expect it to be pristine.

I was told to go to Jost Iron Works for any Steel Bars or Tubes I needed for my MJ.
They are in Allentown, Pa.

If you have any Amish down that way see if you can find a metal shop run by them. That's where I get my metal from and it's cheap. Especially if they're not good at math!
Moses Glick does sound like a typical Amish name actually.
