Metal for frame

having a very hard time locating the tubing i need to extend my frame
anybody know where i can get 2-1/2x4" rectangular tubing???
none of my metal suppliers have it

Have plate bent 90* and weld them,or use big thick angle and cut what size you want.

Try here http://www.ryerson.com/locations/index.asp that's not a common size so if you do find it it'll most likely be pretty high.

tried both sites with no avail..
going to cut up a old tj frame i have that is wrecked anyway for the pieces
i will see if they are salvagable

If not.. Speedymetals.com has 2.5"x5" (3/16" wall) tube.. you could trim off 1" of height and weld a cap on it to make it 4" tall..

'80 CJ5 w/AMC360, T176, D44 w/Detroit 4.56, RE 4" YJ lift and 35s..

Metalsforasteel.com has 2.5"X4" in 11 guage and 3/16 thicknesses. I have used them before, they ship out of northern ky (im in Louisville so its near me), and their prices are better than most other online places. Of course its not as good as local.

i found a guy local had the size haha
i got two 36" pieces of 2-1/2 x4x 1/4" thick
and four 36" pieces of 2" od 1.5" id dom tubing for 150 !!
i can't complain about that
