I got some stuff laying around here, 3/16" diamond plate, 10" round bar, expanded metal...48446. PM me if you want it.

Also if you are local to me, check out JAS Steel in Imlay City. They have a massive amount of cut offs/scrap behind their building. Just stop in the office, let them know your going back there and then stop back in the office after to pay. Literally, every kind of steel you can imagine i have seen it back their.

I always have small pieces on hand for new welders to practice. PM me if you are close and need a few pounds to practice. They are drops from a CNC oxy/fuel/plasma table usually 1/4" to 2" plate

I have been able to buy scrap steel & aluminum at a couple recyclers. Usually for just a very small fee over the scrap price.

Anyone going to the PA jeep show, I could really use a box of scraps, I don't care whats in it, I use random metal to fix random things. I could use some scraps to practice with my new mig welder I just got to dial it in, and would appreciate anything. If you're not local and have a box of random scraps you could send my way to 17339, I will pay the shipping and throw you a few bucks.

Thanks! just PM me.

I'd love sheet metal, any gauge.

7th jeep.Purchased bone stock on 3/05/13. Dark Red 2000 XJ. Automatic, 6.5inch Rough Country Long arms. 33x12.50x15 KM2s.

Hi Everyone.

I picked up a Hobart 210 and need some scrap to practice on. I am located in NE Ohio, Akron Canton area. I have been to a few steel suppliers and they will only sell specific lengths or quantity of steel, not drops or anything. I have also put an ad on Craigs list with no results. Any help with drops or used steel would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Mike

Got a mostly finished rear bumper for a JK here. Needs the mounting solution figured out/fabbed up, and it needs a tire carrier.

Free to whoever wants to pick it up.

Has potential to be pretty cool. Here it is clamped to the frame rails of a jk.
