LJ--shortened front bumper / fog lights

Hi guys, I just want to share before and after pics of my front bumper. I haven't fallen in love with any after-market stubby bumpers I've seen so I've taken matters into my own hands. I cut the ends off and relocated the fog lights towards the center; I also pulled off the chrome grille cover and the side steps. I'm hoping to weld on a winch plate and bumper bar in the next weeks as well as close off the sides of the bumper. Because I relocated the fog lights, the cables do not reach so right now they're disconnected. What's the best way to reconnect them? (extensions? re-wiring?) Help please! Let me know what you think!
