Lincoln mig pack 180

Any of you guys using this? Been waiting for a decent welder to go on sale at the local hardware store and this one looks ok but since i've never owned one before I figure I'd ask those who know much more than me.

This one went on sale this week.......reg $749 on for $599.

Whacha think? Worth it?

I'm basically looking for something I can weld bumpers/axle brackets etc and make small repairs with.

Thx

I bought the Lincoln HD 175 last year after the 180 came out for $429 to the door. I love it and it does everything I've needed.

I've got the HD 175 also. No problems with it, works great. I beleive I paid $499. Sounds like a good deal I say go for it.

A 180 is a good all-around size and Lincoln is a good brand, go for it. I wish I could have found my Miller 180 for that price.
