How did you guys make center mounts for TT's?

Im trying to make a tummy tuck for my current build and the only problem im running into is the center mount. I made a piece of steel plate, and welded a piece of angle to it. So a the high side it sits about 1 inch. That i believe is to high of an angle to mount the Trans and Transmission to. Anyone know how i should make one? here is a pic

Make your holes in the red iron when your able to, then shore up the tranny and remove the OEM skid, then mount the red iron to the tranny mount, then jack up the flat skid to the red iron and you will be able to see if your angle is correct or not. Adjust as necessary to obtain the correct angle.

I don't have a OEM mount style but what I just said is what I would do.

I have a Lo Pro mount from Undercover Fab, which will help me not raise the t-case to much.. You think that will work?

I have no idea if a lo pro mount will work, I went from a NV3550/NP231 to a NV4500/Atlas. The OEM stuff no longer applied or were even close to the same animal. I built a crossmember to hold the tranny/xfer case, my skid is completely seperate.

If your going to fab something you will need to tear into it.

Take off factory skid. Unbolt the factory mount plate from the factory skid. Use as a sample, or use on the TT.

97 TJ Sport - 4.0/HP D30 w ARB/8.8 w LS/4.88s; 35s and flat fenders on 2.5 lift

84 CJ7; frame off restoration in progress.

The technical advice you get from me here is worth exactly what you paid me for it. Warranty issues will be reimbursed at double what you paid me for the advice.
