How can I build windows?

Hello,

I'm new to building and would like some pointers. I have a jeep wrangler 2002, it has a hardtop but no windows. I would like to build my own but don't know where to start. What materials should I use?

Thank you!

Would I cut that to size and then frame it in a way that can fit into the frame of the door?

Should already have the openings in the top yes? If so, you'll also need the rubber seal that goes around the glass. One you have that, you can start marking/cutting the plexiglass.

.. or have a glass company install real safety glass.

Plexi/lexan is great until it turns into a guillotine when it shatters.
Having actual safety glass installed really isn't that bad price wise.

I agree. Go with the real deal. It is safer and holds up longer against scratches.
