Tractor Supply has the HH140 in store for $470 and a miller welding cart at your local welding supply should be in the $20-30 range.

I bought mine at Northern Tool, you can get free shipping and a cart sometimes, but Tractor Supply sells them for the same price as well.

Find the cheapest one brand new online somewhere, print off the add and take it into Tractor Supply. They'll match the price and usually beat it by a little bit. At least thats what they do around here

I have never welded before so I am just practicing with the .030 wire that came with it. I have heard that Tracter Supply is a pretty good place for consumables, also Northern Tool has Hobert brand consumables. When I picked up the 140, I grabbed the solar powered self darkening helmet for $49 at Northern Tool. I am pretty sure that it not that great of helmet, but for the price it will do while I am learning.
