Good steel score. What to build?

Scored a nice piece of steel plate at work the other day. 7'x7"x1/4" for $5. Not very wide, but rather long. I am looking for a project to build for my Jeep. Any suggestions? I was thinking of dropping the stock gas tank skid, pounding the dents out and putting a little reinforcement on it. Can't really afford a new skid right now, but I don't mind losing 1/4" of clearance back there.

Here's a picture of what my Jeep looks like now, with the exception of the new A to Z fab sliders I put on. As well as a spare tire carrier.

Heck, make some "laminate armor". Measure out the size of where you seem to hit the most, chop the piece to size, and weld it to your skid. And while you are under there, you might do the same for the belly skid. After that, you might have enough to make an engine skid too.

I think I am just going to hang onto it for now until it is needed. Although I am still open to ideas. I already have an engine skid so I don't need to build one of those.

It's just flat steel plate.

The 2x4 tube works great for what I use it for. Hitting it on rocks pulling up onto obstacles or when backing off after getting denied.

I think I figured out my first project. Going to make a set of mirror movers. I think all of the 03+ movers look flimsy. Going to build my own set nice and solid.
