Front bumper mounting(2"x4" tube) pics??

Have any pics of how to mount a square tube bumper to the front? I'm ready to start cutting metal to make my bumpers. I need to know what kind of metal to get rounded up.
Thanks

I've seen the bumper pics, I'm interested in the mounting of the front bumper. A-Z sells a big bracket for it, but I'm curious about what it takes to make one myself.

Here's a pic of a CJ bumper I made a couple years back.. used angle iron and 1/4"x2" flat stock to make the mounts. The one on the side went down the side of the frame to catch the big hole. Of course, can't do that with a YJ/TJ.

Thanks! That's what I'm looking for. I've never had the stock bumper off yet, so I wasn't sure how it was held on. Trying to get my plans ready in my head. I'm used to working on aircraft and having drawings and prints to show me how to do things. I'm not good at dreaming up things and making them work. I'm more of a copy cat.

Again - for a CJ, but maybe it'll give you ideas.

my bumper is more like 4x4, but same concept. i welded a piece of
3/16" plate along the upper rear edge of the bumper, drilled holes
to mount to the frame in the same places as the stock bumper. did
the same thing on the bottom, no pics though.

pics of the top, 3/16" plate is under tow hooks. nice and clean IMO:

I used 3"x5" for mine and notched the back side to clear the frame horns and steering box . it is 1/4" wall tube and has been hit by quite a bit . I used the factory tow hook mounts on top and two bolts on the bottom
