Front Bumper build..

I got started on my bumper build this weekend and below is a mock up, tonight i welded some heavy angle iron in between the frame horns so i can bolt my new milemarker 12000# winch down. pics will be posted as i go.
This post is to decide which color i should paint it, BLACK OR WHITE, I'm leaning towards black but i saw this picture of a white one and kinda liked it.

So Above this article is a poll, PLEASE CHOOSE WHICH COLOR BLACK OR WHITE YOU WOULD PAINT IT IF IT WERE YOURS......... Thanks guys........................................

Here i've welded in a 3.5x3.5 x 3/8" think angle iron to accept the rear bolts for the 12000# winch. its welded to the frame horns and the center support.

More work done today.
Here i ground off the pipe so i could box in the frame horns with my winch bumper.

Placing the Grille Gaurd.

Cut holes for strut arms.

I think the black would make the bumper/tubework standout from the body a little more. White would sort of blend it in.. especially from the front. I vote for black but it's your Jeep.

I just finished my own bumpers for my Lime Green CJ5.. and painted them silver.

Black....................easy to paint and touch up. White will take prep work to get it looking nice and you will have to have it mixed up to match. If it is white and doesnt match it will look crappy

Black, but not flat. Flat is ugly, go with a satin or semi-gloss. Not glossy tho!

i voted white because ive seen sooooooooo many bumpers painted black (including mine) and id love to see somebody change it up, i think it would look pretty cool

Black! That way when you hit all the road kill it doent's show up as much. Bloody white bumpers may get you in trouble! LOL
