Floor Jack and Jack Stands

I need to get a good floor jack and and at least 2 sets of jack stands. I need them for my Jeep and an 07 Dodge diesel. I am thinking at least a 3ton jack and 6 ton jack stands for the truck.

What would all recommend?

Thanks in advance,

I have been sporting the 3.5 ton professional series Craftsman jack. Works great. One pump to frame feature. Jack stands, I have 2 sets of 6 ton stands from tractor supply as well as 2 sets of craftsman 3.5 ton stands, came as a set with the jack.

Alot of people use the harbor freight big jack stands but I have trouble with the idea of a "cheap" stand holding my jeep up above me.

I bought a Craftsman jack combo and 2 pairs of hi lift jack stands.

Here is the jack:

Here are the Hi lift Jack stands. They've been great so far...

I've got the Craftsman Pro 4 ton jack for my super duty ford. I had to take the first one back due to a leak but the second one seems to be working good.

Have you ever compared the HF 12ton stands to others? I would much rather use my HF stands than anthing you can buy at Wally World or similar; simply put - they're not what you'd expect. I've used quite a few jack stands and these are definitly up to par...
