Wow I really liked those. Seem to be just about what I plan on building in the future. But since you live kinda close I might as well ask...How much for a set? Are you looking to make one for a fellow jeeper who would come pick them up? Either way Great job and be Very Proud!

Well, a couple of guys from the club already want to borrow the MIG, bender, etc to make some. Plus I have other things to work on the heep, and all the other chit going on I really think it would be quite awhile before I could accomodate you NTTJL.. Thanks for askin though.

Those look great. Nice an clean. What do you plan to do differently the nest time around?

Also, how is the rad hoop mounted. Are you considering tying it into the fenders for some lateral support?

Those look awesome. Do you have any more pictures of how those mount to the Jeep and what they looked like before you mounted them?

Thanks for all the comments...

TellyDSP:
First thing different is get the "Got Trikes" bender built, the HF pipe bender is slow and wastes pipe.

Next time make the small panel 65deg tubes a little longer and wider/more radius (hard to do with the HF bender).
I have very little "wrenching room" due to the small plate mounting tabs being very close to the holes that are used to bolt to the grille. The 13MM bolts used to secure thru the 3/16th flat stock to the grille, It takes very many small turns and wrench repostioning to snug up. I used what I had at the time...flat stock wise.
So next time thinner stock for the plate mounting tabs, and not make them as big.
Some trimming with the Plasma was needed.

Right now no plans to tie the hoop to fenders.

Dangle: Vice grips, BFH, & MAP gas in the vice. Back and forth to vice and grille as it shaped up.

Anderw F: These might help...

Do you have "plans" "blueprints" and or "drawings" for those? I am interested in starting a set once all the tools are in my possession and any help would be just great!

Nice clean job, looks great! You might seriously think about tying the hoop to the fenders so the hoop doesn't become part of the hood and grill. Keep up the good work!
