Sorry It's taking so long, we're trying to do it right. The plug is about done, we're about yo lay some glass on it this week. I'd put more pics up but there is not much to see right now. I'll get pics of the finished top for sure.

I like the ideas you guys are leaving, we have a few good ideas of our own.

All I need is 4 more inches.

The plug is about done, but my compressor threw a rod. I need it for sanding and clearcoating. We have custom boat windshields consuming our time right now. We are definitly going to follow through though, it's just taking way longer with everything else in the mix.

This would be really cool. I don't really care about the tops fitting over it, but cool idea. I can't wait to see the finished top, don't know why bestop discontinued it...

I sold the jeep so the project went on hold for a bit, I just picked up another one so we'll get back on it soon.

I, too, am very interested in seeing the final product. The overhang on the rear is good for those of us who sit all the way back and lean the seat back.

I did something like this. I found a hard top from a wrecked jeep and cut it down in the shape of a biki top. Work awesome. But some one wanted it more than me and stoled it.

Sorry guys, the addition of a new baby, new yj project, and a flooded basement (that I had just finished) have pretty much halted the top for a while. The plug is ready to mold I just need to find the time and a few hundred for the materials. I also based it off my 94 with the family roll bar wich I no longer have, test fitting will be a little tricky.
