Drilling scout D44 knuckle question

I Have a D44 out of a scout and I want to reuse my stock tierod. I am going to drill the steering knuckle about 6" out from the center of the ball joints. I just need to know if anyone knows what size these holes are, and what the best way to drill and taper them would be? thanks in advance
