distributor gets wet?

Does anyone have any ideas on a way to fabricate something to keep my distributor from getting wet. It sits low, and when I go through water it gets wet and my jeep dies, I have to wait until it dries to get going again, this is such a pain. Please let me know.

Try putting a rubber distributer cover on it from a Mustang.
When it gets wet and will not fire the engine, take the cap off and spray the inside parts and cap with WD-40.
