Well, I just went to 35's, and there is even less room now...

If you are still running into it-- looks like you can cut the main beam on that jack down now. Good lookin carrier...How much does the new rim/tire combo weigh?

The new one is heavy! But it rests on the bumper now.

Can one of these be built and use the factory hinge mounting locations ? Assuming your going to use a 31" tire ?

Sexy tire carrier. I hate being in college and living on campus. Seeing other people fab stuff for the jeep makes me so jealous!

Haha but seriously I might build one like this at my buddy's apartment. Yours looks sweet

Thanks! This is a simple carrier to make. Especially at a college, you just have to make friends with the guys in the engineering department!!!
