I assume you are planning on sport style seats and 5 point harness? What about an on-board foam-based fire extinguisher?

Thanks guys, For seats I have the Beard/Redart Ultra highback suspension seats, and for harnesses, RJS 5-points, and yes we will have a couple of easily accessible fire extinguishers and are looking into self contained halon suppression systems, we will also have some shears taped to the door bars to cut the window nets if they become to entangled to exit safely.

Got the fuel cell mount done this weekend, what a major pain, at least until I figured out a good way to attach it to the cage, I don't want anything in the cab that is not directly tied to the cage as there should be some movement between the cage and the cab portion, at least until I can gauge just how much relative movement there is:

Dont know if this is especially important to you...
In regards to the HALON system, I dont know if you have ever had to use them, or I suppose I should say, I dont know if you have ever had the misfortune of being in a vechicle when one of those mother fu%$ers went off, but it sucks the damn air out so fast, you think you swallowed your tounge, not to mention being covered with white crap. Well, I guess it is very inconsequential compared to being burned to death, but I didnt have much fun the one time I was "lucky" enough to test it out. Long story short...I ended up diving out of a truck that was still moving rather fast, so I dont have a real high opinion of them. But I am sure alot of race cars/trucks use them, so they must know what they are doing... just though I would get my daily *****/whine/complaint out early...lol

still researching a bit but it is the most effective system I have found.

no spectacular updates as it has been rainy here, mostly cleaning out my garage at home so I can yank it over there and start installing all the high buck parts that are currently sitting on my office floor. I have a few hundred bucks worth of -AN fittings and stainless flex line etc for the fuel, waiting on the pump right now and working on plumbing the brakes, most of the metal fab is done until I can get the fresh air pumpers, oil/tranny/power steering coolers in there and build in the dual spare tire mounts, until then it is all wiring the gauges, the dual battery stuff, shift linkage, getting the seats and harnesses in, and also waiting on my 5.29 gear set, 35-spline spool, and the install kit for the ford 9" so I can set up the gears and get the driveshafts made. Lots of details to address!

Thanks guys and hope you all have a great Holiday/New year!

Chris

Thanks much, you have a merry Christmas as well!
Got the radiator out and started the CPS relocation, it moves the sensor from the bellhousing to the harmonic balancer, looks pretty slick and should make life a bit easier, also started on the dual spare mounts and got the cell in and starting to route the hardlines for the fuel and the brakeline stuff should be here soon:
