thanks a TON all! Your cool comments keep me going and motivated Raining hard here so practicing my tig welding inside for now. Still have to get some coin together for a driveshaft, hook up the cooling lines for the trans, then we have some holes to patch in the floor and finish mounting all the electronics, cut some more interior panels. Just got a Shear/Brake/Roll tool so got to build a table for it and get it set up so I can do some interior skinning. I'll update with progress!

thanks again!

Blah blah blah blah.

Nothing right now on the market, however, you can hardwire switches to the TCU to make it shift.

not true, you still need a gate shifter to put it in P,R,N,D but this guy makes a few really cool kits to do just that, I have the baja shifter and it is a pretty nice unit:

However our new trans(tf904) has a reverse manual valve body so all shifting will be with the art carr shifter, already set up!

Blah blah blah blah.

Wait, so there is a product that will do all the shift via momentary or SPST switches eliminating the gear select altogether?

I didn't know that.

But hey, I was checking out your build and awesome work man!

I'm just wondering, whats the benefit of using a fuel cell over gasoline?

Thanks much!

the fuel cell is for gasoline(not what is now called a fuel cell w/hydrogen), it has the steel can with a puncture proof composite inner bladder which is required for all race vehicles so as to prevent fuel spillage/fire in case of collision etc.
cheers

Ah now I see.

But still for some people just 1-4 is enough control.

Well good luck with the rest of the build...subscribed!

Just read through your build thread here... wow. I can't believe the time you must have involved in this bad *** rig. I can't wait to see a video or atleast know that you've gotten to take it out to get some air!

Very nice build man. Props to you.

That manual shifter you have, Is it for an AW4 or the NV4500? I am building a rock racing buggy and could use one of those. (that is if it doesnt make it into my soon to be DD first)

Make sure you post videos of the desert sections.

If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, runs on gasoline or gunpowder, goes fast or shoots a big bullet and makes lots of noise, thus producing torque and recoil its cool.
