sorry guys, thanks for bearing with me:

Well this part has been "bugging" me for a while and I finally dove in head first, we originally had the cage built long ago when we had no idea what suspension we would end up with so the original tie-ins had to be relocated slightly, sleeved with 2"/.120 DOM:

seat mounting, psnger/driver shell starting:
\
a little extra gusseting, had to plasma a bunch of access panels to relocate the xmember as it used to be a 2.5L and they did not line up with the tranny:

still going to add more triangulation possibly, and some strategic plating, I am starting to think I may be overbuilding this thing, may be really heavy but we'll see I guess:

Man, I wish we had stuff like jeepspeed back east. There aren't even any reasonably accessible spec classes in the rock comps. At least that I'm aware of.

I'm Trying I'm trying, it is tough to get anything done with a real job getting in my way, we'll see you out there soon enough, watch out for Team Animal

Thanks much for the kind words, lots of work/time/$$/work/time/$$, you get the picture, it will be all worth it when we get on that podium for the first time. Cheers
Chris

I like it. I'm about to get a 2wd (uncle wants to get rid of it cheap). It needs some work and I am toying with either fixing it and driving it, fixing it and selling it, fixing it and JeepSpeeding it, or making it 4wd and wheeling it. The only problem with the Jeepspeed is that i'm on the east coast...

I'm working on it, really sucks having to work with all these parts cluttering up my office begging to be installed. broke a part of my tube bender this las weekend so i got the new part and am going in head first this coming weekend, gotta prepare for my 6 brand new Maxxis Bighorns to show up on the 9th, had to remove the front end and fab up some shock mounts, tons of small details to address:
doesn't really look like $4k+ worth of parts does it?
