cutting stock bumper to make it a stubby

has anyone cut their stock front bumper to make it a stubby? i thought i saw someone with that and it looks pretty cool....... oh and i got in a fender bender with a another driver and my front bumper is bent in. how can i bend it back? take it off and jump on it?? lol.

Fairly common mod. Looks pretty good. I've seen a few pics in the YJ Forum before. Just zip thru it with a sawzall or cutoff wheel and dress the edge with a flap disk. You can angle it up or even hack it off flush with the outside edge of the frame.
