Custom made tj fenders

Has anyone made custom made tube fenders for the tj? I just wanta get rid of the flat black fenders i have and add something to it. Anyone have any ideas?

Might shoot gabemerrill a PM.. he did sweet set of front and rear tube flares for his TJ.. They are tough too.

Well...i kinda want that. But i wanta keep my stock metal flare i have...and just take the flat black one off and add something to that. Does that make since?

How thick of sheet metal will work. I've got some 1/4 '' metal left from a previous project, Is this to thick?
And does anyone have any Detailed specs on how to fab and attach the fenders.

1/4" is a little heavier than I would go with.

Mine are 14 ga. (I'm pretty sure) and even thats more than you would really need. I'm going to be putting together design / dimensions and a parts list for these in the next few months so stay posted.

I'm also starting to think about high-line fenders so I can stuff 37's with a 3.5 inch lift.
