Custom Fenders, Cost and Difficulty?

All these custom fenders on Wranglers around here have gotten me to thinking that I need to do this.
Here's what I'm talking about:

So what I want to know:
How much would this cost me to do at a shop?
Is this something I should be attempting on my own?

Anyhow, if you have pictures, answers or suggestions, send em this way
:cheers2:

Diy kits can be had off of ebay or some of the vendors sell them, precut, pre notched tubes ready to weld and paint! Shouldn't be too hard if you know how to weld and have no issue cutting into your jeep..

Pre-assembled ones can get fairly pricey. I went with Poison Spyder Customs that a body shop painted and put on. I would have installed them myself, but my Jeep was in the shop from an accident so I had them take care of it. If you go to Poison Spyder's website and look up their fenders there are PDF instructions on the page that'll give you an idea of what it'll take to install them.

I'll do that. Thanks for the tip.
do you like the spyders?

I really like them. The quality is fantastic, they are pricey, and the customer service is lacking. If I order anymore PSC I'll be going through River City Offroad. They are suppose to be able to beat PSC direct prices and have better customer service.
