Custom BL

Ok, I realize that this isn't really considered "fabbing," but I was wondering if anyone here has made a body lift themself? My dad works at a machine shop and has access to aluminum, steel, titanium, magnesium, etc. stock and was thinking about making a body lift for me, but doesnt know the right diameter for the spacers, or inside hole, nor how to bevel it. Anyone done this before?

Best bet would probably be to take a look at an aftermarket body lift puck and copy the dimensions. Barring that, I'd go the same diameter as a typical stock body puck and make the inside dimension a slip fit for the body bolt.. should be pretty easy.

A buddy of mine used hockey pucks for his 1" body lift.
They also make nice bumpstop extensions.

99 cents a piece at our local Play It Again Sports outlet.

you could always order a body lift kit, copy all the pieces then return the kit.
