Can't reach top of shock nut!!

How in the heck am I supposed to do my own lift when There's like 1/2 inch of room for my fingers/tools in a 2012 wrangler unl.? I'm trying to prove everyone wrong and be able to do this.

i did it and my hands are not small. Its very tight up there. You can do it! Its been some time but i think I did remove some of that webing with a dremil. It seemed one side was harder too.

Tell you though, relaxe, get a few beers. have a few friends to help.

remove the wheelwell liner.I also ground a cheap wrench down to hold the shaft.

Ratcheting box end wrench, works every time. I have done a couple dozen JK lifts without taking anything apart on the front to get to the shocks.

Always bring a compass, it is awkward to have to eat your friends.
