^^^ BAD A$$

How did you put all the dimples on the fish? Those are awesome! I ordered my AVHC on Friday, so hopefully I will be up and running pretty soon. All I'm missing now is a large compressor, and I'm on the lookout.

I'm gonna quit hijacking your thread and start my own pretty soon. Again, really cool fish...

A hammer and punch over a block of wood. I bent all the fins out by hand and colored the thing with a propane torch. This is the fun stuff you get to do!

Look forward to seeing what kindsa projects you can think up. Just like eddie, feel free to hit me up with any questions.

Is that stainless or mild steel? That's cool! I did one of those Tunas out of 304 stainless. I want to do the Rainbow Trout, Salmon and a Largemouth Bass.. I was actually looking at a "salt bath" setup to control the heat so I could get the different "hues" in the patina. I figured for the Trout, I could use the TIG torch to get the concentrated heat for the little spots...

That really is cool using the punch to dimple it.. I like that.

Mild 20 ga... I found a way to get my wife involved in my madness... and told her to look up patina techniques and different options with finishes. I am working on a mahi, dolphin, wahoo and speck trout. I'll post up as I finish them.

I made some hood mounts for a TJ owner on here... he built a Delta style light bar and needed some mounts. I am thinking I can make a few minor modifications and do a single light mount or a hi lift mount...

Just curious how thick you are making those fire rings. That's a great idea for wheeling trips to pack in and pack out a ring.

I've downloaded dozens of CAD drawings and finally got around to tweaking this dragon fly file and cut it out of some 1/8" today. I'll shoot it with some paint during the week and toss it in the wife's garden.

There's a bunch of cool ones.. dinosaurs, insects, even a really detailed one of the Eifel Tower.. it has like 3000 pierces!!

Anyhow..

More of the bumper... We used the TM to cut the notches in the rectangular tube. Then used it to cut the winch mount, the fairlead mount, shackle tabs and for light bezels. Those are actually stock JK fog lights.

Here is a pic of the front bumper finished up... it uses JK fog lights. Pretty stoked on how it turned out.
