BB install with pics........

I was told i should post this here if its not allowed then please delete/move it.

OK i set out to install my BB and things today and finaly got it done. It took about 5/5.5 hrs.
1st i used the instructions that i got off Kevinsoffroad.com. That helped a lot. I just jacked up one side of the axle as high as i could and with the tire off and set two jackstands right behind the lower control arm(LCA's). un-done the sway bars. Got my spring compressors tight

and then lowered the jack so that the frame stoped on the stands and the axle went as low as i could get it.

Here it is after i got the BB installed on the spring post

And finaly here it is with the spring back in place and the bump stop extention on the bottom

Now for the rear ones. Did the same thing for the rear as far as the jack goes. Here you can see that i have installed the 2" bump stop extentions the BB and the spring retainer arm extentions. Now my jeep has UC so i already had a spacer on the bump stop i took it out and just used the 2" extender/spacer.

This actualy turned out pretty easy. Ill try to answer any questions if you guys that are planning on doing one soon have any. Now the final results

You have the final results, but do you have a before picture for comparison?

New member....great site!
OK, I joined because I am ready to start upgrading my ZJ. Starting with my tires and looking for advice. I have stock 225/70/16's, considering 255/65/16's as a safe bet....can I get away with installing them without any other modifcations? Could I go bigger without any major rubbing?
Thanks for any help,
Mike

Mike,

You might want to try and ask that question in the ZJ technically section, you might get a better response there: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/
