Any 1 week welding classes anywhere?

Any welding classes that I find are long term, usually community college classes.

I'm looking for a short term 1 - 2 week intensive class. All welding, all the time.

I will travel anywhere in the US if I find one.

Anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Call Troy Johnson at The Fab School in Riverside CA. www.thefabschool.com Tell him I told you to call. He normally has a longer term class but might be willing to work something out with you.

check out craigslist. I see guys on there that will come teach you how to weld on your welder for about $100/day. I figure 1 day is enough to get the basics. Its not rocket science, more of an art. Like teaching someone how to draw. You get the basics quick, but practice is KEY. Just make a welding table for your first project.

It's taken 4 years, but to answer my own question

http://www.lincolnelectric.com/en-us...ng-school.aspx has several 4 1/2 & 5 day courses.
