ammo case storage....

well i just baught these guys off ebay....

i'll be fabbing up a bravcket system to mount them bazooka style on the wheel wells. thinking about using Mr. B's idea of mounting some 5.25" speakers in the ends, or just using the whole thing for storage.

will post pics of the buildup...

I love ammo cans for storage.. simple, watertight and different shapes/sizes... and you can get 'em super cheap.

Paint them red and mount them on the hood. Those freeway maniacs will give you a lot of respect.

M & I Surplus in Pomona, CA has rooms full of every size ammo box you could want starting at 7.95.

http://yellowpages.superpages.com/pr...aMAA%3D%3D.htm

They have tons of other military gear new and old... good prices... I spend a lot of time there...

well, while waiting for the ammo cases to show up i got on SolidWorks for a few minutes, and based on the dimmentions he gave me, came up with a quick model of how i think i'll be mounting them. i might angle the brackets a little outward to give it a bit of flare:

Put a link to this thread on my thread when you get pictures. I'm sure they will look great, and I want to see them.
