2014 Jeep jk front bumper

Hello I want to build my own front bumper on my jk and I would like to know if its better to keep the stock metal renforcement and build my 3/16'' plated bumper over it like a skin. I would like a similar look to the PJ stubby front bumper. The only diffrence I want to do is putting 2 hella 500 foglights at the same spot of stock one and putting my front liscence plate between them, do you think its possible to build ? PS I Have acess to a plasma cutter and a MIG welder I am good with those tools I already build half doors for my old YJ.

For a better idea, imagine this bumper with 7" rond hella 500 instead of the stock foglights. Does its possible to fit the hella 500 in the same spot or I need to install them elsewhere ?
