Tj TJ 1ton build using RE CA's and tranfercase crossmember

anyone here do a 1ton swap and coilovers on their tj using RubiconExpress CA links and transfercase crossmember?

i currently have a Rubicon Express 5.5" LA kit, and wanna re-use my TC crossmember and LA's with the 1tons.

im planning to start ordering items to get this ball rolling

plans are:
D60 out of an 89 F-350 front
14bolt rear
5.13 gears
detroit locker-rear
ox locker -front
atlas 2spd 5:1
39.5" tires
14' travel radflo coilovers
genright alien gas tank
genright cage
genright corner guards stretch

so im looking to find more information from people that have used the RE parts. do's? dont's? things to look into.

not alot of guys on this small island of maui that are into jeeps. mostly stock tourist jeeps everywhere. Mahalo guys and girls.

Why bother going through all that time and money just to skimp out on suspension geometry. You're better off learning the ins and outs of suspension dynamics and building your own stuff to go along with the impressive parts list you have there IMO

The bushings suck, the skid plate hangs too low, and the overall system has a horrible footprint...just to name a few.

So, bushings and the skid Is not flush with the frame? Bushings can rebuild, and I've never had problems gettin hung up.

And it very well may be fine where you live and in your wheeling conditions.

As far as bushings go though, the next time you replace them look into Metalcloak's duroflex bushings. Much better quality and they even make a kit for RE arms.

Check out Barnes 4wd for the necessary CA brackets for mating up your RE LA's with the new axles.

local guy did this same basic swap. used his existing long arm kit mounted to a full width D44 and d60. i'll try to snag pics next time i see it, he just got it back from the shop this week.
