I just say that..... with hard mount points like the rod ends, JJ's etc. Things just make noise, not sure what parts it is...... it's probably just the sleeves on my limit straps, ha ha

I've got several years and almost 50k miles on my oldest JJ's. Still as quiet and tight as day one. If your JJ's make any noise at all, you've got a problem.

EDIT: That's a better guess as to where your noise is coming from.

I'm not knocking jj's, but I had to take mine apart after about 5000 miles to clean them up and pack them with grease. Several were sticking, it was probable the red and tacky grease I used. Grease them with the slickest grease you can find.

after i did the v8 swap and had the truss on front axle the 4" of lift wasnt enough. i hit the bottom of oil pan with the swar bar still on. i feared that 6.5 i still would be very close so the 8.5 would be good. just didnt relize all the **** that came with it lol but i guess there is only one way to learn.
