Stretching wheelbase, longer better?

I have a 95 yj tub and frame. The frame from front to back is 120". The back has been hacked off, narrowed, and stretched.
I am going to four link the rear and 3 link the front. With all that being said what would be a good Ideal wheel base? Is 120" to long? Any input?

120" wow thats alot without rearsteer, heck I'm 108 with rearsteer and I feel I'm to long in some tight spots.
Yes the rearsteer make's up for the tight trails but damm 120" is long and what size tire?

Average trail Jeep/buggy is anyware from 99"-107" reartseer yes you can push it out longer.

Jason.

Ok good to know! I'd like to run 39's or bigger. Just need to get ideas on how I am going to use this frame that has already be some what started.

If the frame is 120" front to back then your wheel base will not be 120.
100-110 is popular stretch. I'd like 106" which some day is the plan with xj leafs.

Ummmm.....120" is LONG. I'd go that long if I were running 47's. You're not thinking about turning radius and breakover angle, obviously.

Your right, because This is my first build. I was more the less just curious to see what is to long, and what other guys are running. I still have a lot of learning and reading to do.

I am 106ish on 39'5s. I'd go 110-112 with 42's when I build again but with a flat belly. It's stable but another 2 inches wouldn't kill me.

I'm at 120" wheelbase with a flat belly and 42s. I absolutely love the wheelbase, my previous jeep was 103" and this one performs so much better on the trails I wheel.

I am running 109 on 37s on a 4" lift and love it! I do drag over the big stuff but nothing a skilled driver can't solve.
