stand alone fuel management

Does anyone know of a standalone unit that will pass obd2 emmisions?

nope.

how about you fill in your vehicle information and give a little bit more detail on what you're trying to do.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

Its a 98 Cherokee with a 4.6l auto trans. I am looking for a stand alone system that has a dlc connected so it can pass nys inspections

A well hidden piggy back that's very well programmed to only control spark and fuel may do the trick.
But a straight stand alone will not pass plug in inspection.

I use standalone harness' in my motor swaps, and run OBD ports.
Depending on what you need to pass (EGR, how many o2 sensors, etc) it shouldn't be a problem.

Why would you just wonder?
AEM standalone offers multiple maps. so you can use one map to pass emissions, another to run for everyday driving, and another one for performance and offroad chaos

does it work with the stock computer to pass the obdii plug in tests? not just sniffers?

Most aftermarket harness' come with an OBDII port, so it is a non issue.

I have just bought a MSX 3 Megasquirt and it will be able to pass any OBDII test with an appropriate tuning.

My current project (LSx into a Range Rover) is running a standalone ECM and wiring harness. Harness came with output for a CEL and its own OBD port too. Would be absolutely no issue passing emission testing with the ECM set to run whatever you need to pass (EGR, o2 sensors, etc)
