Gear pattern check!!

THis is a 78 f250 HP dana 44 the pictures are sporting a back lash of 9 Please let me know what you think. Ive set up gears before I just always want more opinions when locking in the final number.

I moved the pinion in a little readjust to a 7 backlash and this is my pattern

The second pattern looks better than the first to me. But it still looks like the pinion is a bit shallow. Thin the marking compound a little with some light oil and it will be easier to see the pattern on the coast side.
