Difference between 231C & 233C???
Wondering if anyone could help? I'm currently running a 231C T-case behind a 700R4 in my 88 wrangler. I came across a 233C T-case at work that I could get for nothing. Is there any advantage to switching them? I'd also like to do a SYE kit as well but I'm not sure if there is one even available. Figured I find out more about the T-case before I went any further. Thanks in advance for your help!

Some 1st gen S10s and Blazers had an "HD" case in them. This included a 1.25" wide chain and 6 Planetary gears, they also had fixed front outputs. These parts are interchangeable between 1st and 2nd Gen cases (Note: NP236 is a VERY different case (and junk)).
I've read there is some interchangeability between the 231C and 231J cases but, I'm not positive on what exactly.
