Complete make over..

I have found a 1977 gmc Sierra classic 4x4. It has a 350/350 in it And from the resarch I have done it will have a 205 transfer, I am not sure what axles it has. My question is to the ones on here that have done the whole chevy running gear and all, what springs should I go with and any pointers for this swap. I am good at building, and welding and cutting so I can fab almost anything, I know there are alot of builds on here that people have done, And I have read almost all of them but just really wondering if I can stay with my cj springs are use the chevy springs or which ones do I need to find, I have done this swap on a Toyota so I have experience due to offroading my whole teen and adult years, just new to the jeep world. Thanks for the input
