Got some work done today, but not as much as I wanted too. Woke up this morning to a backed up septic system and had to deal with that

The adapter ring didn't quite fit right, but after sone grinding and enlarging the holes a hair it finally bolted up. Hopefully I'll get it mounted to the tran later this week.

And the big hole I cut for clearance. Found some rust in that side of the floor pan so I just hacked at it since I'm going to have to replace it.

Im have about $5000 in it the way it sits now including the purchase of the Jeep. I'm guesstimating about another $1000 in the 3 link front, trackbar, having the driveshafts rebuilt and the sheetmetal for rear inner fenders and the hole I created for the transfercase.

Got the transfercase installed today. The only issue is now it wont start with the key (started when I jumped the starter). I have not checked the nuetral safety switch yet, but is there anything this swap could have done to cause this?

Got the frame stiffeners cut and fitted today. Now the fun part of preping the frame and drilling all the rosette holes begins.

Is that 2x2x1/4"? Can't wait to see how you are attaching it all. This whole no frame thing is tough to get around.

Each side is 5 ft. of 3x3x3/16 with 2 relief cuts for the slight rise in the frame and then notched around the rear spring hanger

Drilling them is going to be fun..

I need to go grab some good metal holesaws, I was trying to drill my stiffeners with bits, but they just didn't stay sharp long enough.

Make sure you use cutting oil like "Tap Magic" or something to make the bit stay sharp longer. And definately use it on a hole saw.
