Something small I can abuse for fun..

You guys steered me in the right direction last time I asked.

This time around I'm looking for something small (economical) that I can tool around with. I would like it to have a little speed (not a monster truck), must be electric and parts must be in great supply.

Budget is less than $200.....watcha think?

Other details:
-I have a transmitter
-I dont mind assembling it myself (in fact I prefer it)
-I have no problem piecing together to build something rather than buying something rtr.

It's an oldie but a goodie....I loved my team associated tc3. Back in the day parts where everywhere, I imagine you can still find them easy enough online. Plus you would buy one used so it would fit the budget. I sold my loaded $350 plus tc3 years ago for $110 on eBay. I would look for something like this to get into if I where to do it again.

Thanks for the good info. I'm really hoping to buy new. I'll check out those tc3's though!

Dude I totally agree with the guy about the Team Associated TC3! I have owned this same car for years and upgraded to a Mamba Brushless lipo battery set up and it rocks! You won't regret your purchase of a tc3
