I'm also looking at an Axial SCX10 but my son wants a Losi Night Crawler. What do you guys think of the HPI Crawler King with a TJ body? It's an RTC. So, basically, I'm looking at these 3 but leaning towards the Night Crawler for my son.

I am biased toward the axial because I have one, but the HPI looks kinda weird, and the night crawler has all plastic links but it is worm gear which is nice, I'm not sure the price difference between the NC and losi's other crawler but u can the light kit for like $30. But again I would say the axial I LOVE mine, i'll post a link to my build thread soon

Does the ThunderbirdJunkie refer to himself in the third person?

I raced RC cars for years. If any of you use trinity motor spray (which I recommend because it cleans out your electric motors, just reoil your bearings when finished" I swear it smells exactly like seafoam which we use to clean inside our jeep engines.......
Interesting!

Very cool - I almost bought one myself. At the last minute I went with the Losi 1/18 Mini-Rock Crawler
only because it has the battery and charger included.
