http://www.hobbytown.com/Shop/-1/10-...1973-Kit-CC01/

http://www.hobbytown.com/Shop/-SCX10...it-with-Dingo/

starting to look into rc trucks. these two keep in my mind. but i know as much about rc trucks as i do flying an airplane.

can anyone give me pros and cons of both trucks, and if there is a better choice, im open to hear.
thanx,

Both are good trucks. Go over to RCCrawler.com and check their forums out on each truck.

Here is a couple shots of my modified SCX10

nice looking truck. can the scx10 be set up for a little more speed than just a crawl? want something that can buzz around the yard as well as climb some.

The SCX10 is capable of a pretty wide range of gear ratios just by changing the spur and pinion gears. It will go from a 73.85:1 to 15.38:1. It all depends on what you really want to do with it. If you want to "race" around the back yard it won't be that great of a crawler and vise verse. UNLESS you are ready to drop some money on a 'want a summit' transmission holder, a summit 2 speed transmission, a new speed controller/motor combo and a higher voltage battery.

Again, RCCrawler.com will have a ton more info that will answer many of your questions.
