My new indoor R/C Crawler course. Part 1

Well my wife is at work, I'm bored, don't have anyone wanting to wheel today so I say ok I'll wheel the cheap Nylint. Got bored with the boxes moving around on the carpet and its not as realistic so I hit up Wal-mart and got some supplies.

I have some other paints I may use for decoration

This is what I used as a base. Just a bunch of trash taped together. It's ugly but it will work.

This is with two can's. I loaded this one up and will add more smaller rocks that I can drop off and on too.

Letting it dry then I will sculpt it... Maybe. As I watch it dry there are all kinda nooks and cranny's popping up that make it look almost realistic. Well maybe like another planet. So far I'm 19 dollars into it.

I got my nylint on eBay shipped to my door for $39. This was $19 to do the first couple "rocks" I'm gonna let it cure for maybe 3 or 4 hours before I start painting and wheeling on it

Be careful when you paint it. Last time I attempted to paint foam with spray paint the spray paint dissolved the foam. Try it in a small spot.

Another way is to sit on the pot, reach down and grip the bowl with both hands, and push against the floor with your feet.

There's a good writeup on rccrawler.com about making a course with plywood and the expanded foam. I just bought a Axial Scorpion and have been messing with it a little.

I prefer my RC a little quicker than crawling. I bash my E-MAXX all over the yard. My son has a Stamped and loves it.

Now with that said post some *** pics!!!!!

Please.

Chris.
