Mini-Rubicon

I wanted something to cruise the campground after a day of wheeling so here is "Mini-Sarge", modeled after my 2013 Commando Green JK Rubicon "Sarge".



Built up on an Axial SCX10 Dingo kit with a ProLine 2-door JK body. Motivation is provided by a Novac 21t brushless motor and speed controller with 3-cell lipo. Top speed is not fast (it is a crawler after all) with full boogie being about 15mph. Slow crawl control is fantastic and the torque is endless.

Keep young

What do you do when it's time to take a break from playing on the rocks? You get out and play on the rocks some more.... The way I see it, you are never to old to still be a kid once in a while. Here is Sarge and Lil' Sarge on the rocks.

tint the windows on the scale jeep.

Testors makes a "tint" color in a spray can you can get at hobby stores, or you could get some VHT tail light tint.

I am ordering another body and am going to try to get the color match closer and tinting the windows is a good idea.

you can probably buy a can of the same paint as your jeep from the dealership.

I used to buy the little spray cans for my dodge magnum all the time so i could color match accessories. just go to the dealerhip and order one.

Auto paint will chip when the lexan flexes. I've tried it before stick with RC paint. They also make a lexan tint for windows
