Drinking a Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, man, it is pretty good. There was def no warning label, except for the 8% by vol. Nice copper color with hints of pine and citrus. Make sure you can really site down and enjoy this one. Cheers!

OMG. Just had the best beer ever. Soo strong. Sierra Neveda Hoptimum Imperial IPA. 10.2% 100-IBU. Also I love the Stone Ruination IPA at 7.7% Malt beer can go to hell.

Do you guys have Shiner beer there? It's great for summer or just in general for that matter.

What kind of beer are you looking for???
a session beer or a hoppy beer??
I know my beers pretty well...
was a beer buyer/receiver about for 7 years.... for Whore Foods

my personal favorite for hops is dogfish head 60 min or half acre daisy cutter
session ales are less alcohol and you asked for chillin and grillin so I take it you want lighter octane with good flavour??
try Holy Moses from Great Lakes brewing, Ohio for a good taste and several hours of drinking

Recently tried Zon and it's really good. It's finished off with orange peel. If you like Blue Moon with an orange slice, you'll like it.

That one was alright but my all time Kona Brewing fav is the Pipeline Porter. Seasonal and damn amazing

Ok the best beer that I had is IPA only available from the Tun Tavern in Atlantic City, New Jersey. But to tell you the truth you could not go wrong with any of the Tun's Handcrafted Beers!!! It's a great selection.
Tun Light-Golden Ale
Irish Red-Crimson Ale
Devil Dog Pail-American Pale Ale
Leather-Neck Stout- Robust Stout
All American I.P.A.- American India Pail Ale
Then their outstanding Seasonal brews
So if you are ever in Atlantic City, N.J. Stop in to the Tun Tavern, have a beer also their food is awsome!

Great Lakes Brewery has some great beers:

Commodore Perry IPA.... very nice, not too hoppy, but refreshing
Black Out Stout...the name says enough, there is a reason it only comes in a 4 pack
Nasferatu, another great beer but its seasonal and packs a punch as well...hence the name
Christmas Ale...if you like a beer that has some spice notes this is a great one, although not my favorite Christmas Ale, the brewery sells out their entire supply within the first week it is completed due to the huge local demand, but they brew a batch in July for xmas in July. Nice beer but gives me headaches most likely becaus of the sugar content and the fact that I can never have just 1 ha ha

I'm so glad you are looking for a good IPA. My favorites lately are:
-Stone (a classic)
-Smuttynose IPA (all time favorite)
-Southern Tier IPA
-Sam Adams White Water IPA (Better than Latitude 48 in my opinion)

There are loads more but these are a guaranteed hit!!
