The fall beers are starting to show up in the liquor stores.

The pumpkin beers are really good. I like dog fish and Sam Adams for those. Shiner makes a Christmas ale that's pretty good. If you are close to a BJ's Brewhouse they roll out seasonals year round. Love the craft beers, and will always jump on an IPA!

The wife and I did some Pumpkin beer tasting yesturday.
We tried
Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale
O'Fallon Pumkin Beer
Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale
Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale
The Sam Adams was good with almost a peppery flavor, not much pumpkin taste.
O'Fallon very good pumpkin flavor, this was by far my favorite of the four.
Smuttynose very hoppy no pumpkin flavor, my least favorite.
Blue moon again not much pumpkin flavor, but still a good beer.

When they come out, try to find the latest Firestone Walker anniversary ale and what I think will be the final Stone Vertical Epic (which won't actually come out until 12.12.12).

Due to lack of interest, tomorrow has been canceled

I'm a big fan of Torpedo also! Anchor Bock is my favorite though. Also anything from Lagunitas is usually good, especially the Maharaja.

These aren't seasonals though...

Maharaja is Avery brewing, not Lagunitas, but yes, it's an excellent beer.

Who makes pum king and where do you get it? I'll try some. Also, if you like IPA's and bold hop flavor try some Hop Devil. That stuff is awesome.

Pump king blows by that is just my humble opinion. I home brew and make my own organic pumpkin beer with mulling spices which is way better but I'm biased. I'm partial to Ayinger Marzen as it is that time of year. And BTW blue moon sucks

04 TJ Willys Edition 4.0 five speed, metal cloak front, groundpounder rear, zj tie rod, currie track bar, more to come

Good to hear from a fellow home brewer. I've found my tastes have changed a lot since I began brewing my own and I can't stand some of the main stream stuff. If I have to drink that stuff I look for dark beer with a higher malt and hop flavor.
