I just got a Brinkmann Smoke'N Pit for Christmas! Cheapest you can buy but it's been doing good. I've made a few mods to it and when it warms up I'm going to be making some more.

So far I've smoked two racks of ribs and two pork shoulders. I've got a rack of ribs on now, going to throw my first brisket on around 4 or 5pm and then another pork shoulder tonight around 10pm. Ribs are for dinner today and the brisket and pork shoulder should be done around 3 or 4 tomorrow!

Some pics!

Traegers are beginner pellet smokers. Look into Smokin Brothers brand. They used to be traeger distributors then traeger got outsourced and they started making their own quality smoker grill

Novice smoker here, just got my Traeger last year during Father's day 2013 and wondered why I never got one sooner. Last Thanksgiving, I tried smoking a turkey in the Traeger for the first time and it was an instant hit with the family . Also did a ham but did not set for smoke, still had a hint/taste and ring of smoke though . Next food project will be a rib roast on the Traeger.

So far everything I have smoked or barbequed in it has turned out great. Temperature setting is easy and fuel delivery is automatic with the exception of refilling the hopper.

I got mine from COSTCO so I think it's from China...

I use a Big Green Egg, in competitions as well.

I fill it up, light it, get it to temp, and it will stay within the range I want for 10+ hours easy...

Nice when I'm the only guy sleeping at a competition
