cheap lowes square box grills

How do these work. I'm talking about the propane ones. Im building a keg grill and was thinking of picking up a 30$ one and mounting it inside. Figguring it will help with the wind too while at the beach

You mean something like this;

Or this;

I have one of the top ones and it's ok, but just ok. It's biggest issue is that it tends to lose heat very rapidly and doesn't resist the wind particularly well. It's also a bit of a bear to light and clean.

I replaced it with a Weber Q 120 and couldn't be happier, it's a much better general purpose portable.

Due to lack of interest, tomorrow has been canceled

I had one of the top grills, and the secret was
to keep the lid cracked open. The wind wouldn't
blow it out once the lid was cracked open.

I replaced it with a Weber Smokey Joe.
